Another new view

So today was a crazy day for me and I was in and out of the house, in a mad rush mind you, about 5 times. As a result, I did not check in with any one until 9:30 tonight. I looking for the boys after getting the girls to bed. I expected to find them working hard, one on the computer perhaps and the other drilling,sanding,nailing or painting something. But this is what I found and what an exciting find it was. Welcome home Lewis.

It's Friday! Not that that means much of a difference around here. It's just another work day...but we can justify a little beer.

Xana and I did the final touch ups in her room.


And then she danced with joy.


The very 1st thing to be moved into her room.


The very 1st night slept in her room and shared with her sister.


It was a good weekend.

Renovation Update

OK, it is painfully clear that I am not good at this whole blogging thing. I am 40+ years now, when , oh when, will I find something I am good at? Better a week late than never at all, right?

Renovation Update

OK, like said earlier Lewis has been working hard on his place so here is some of what he has done. Above is what the main living area looked like yesterday and below is what it looks like today at 3pm. It will look a lot different tonight.



Here we have a closet door in Marie-Claude and Lewis's room.

This is Maxime's closet. note: there will be frosted glass put into the spaces.

Maxime's room. Hard to see but Lexi insisted that we include a picture of her room.

TA DA!! The kitchen! Complete with self closing drawers. Very cool. Not that it is complete yet, I didn't mean that, But it is looking great.
